Woman sees mirror on fitting-room floor
Published Tuesday, May 6, 2008
A woman told police that a man slid a mirror underneath a fitting-room door at a Columbia department store to look at her while she was trying on a dress. The 22-year-old woman reported the incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in a fitting room at Target, 2400 Bernadette Drive. She said she noticed something on the floor and realized it was a mirror, then opened the fitting room door and saw a man walking away. A Target employee tried to stop the man but was unsuccessful, Nelson said. The suspect is described as white, 30 to 35, with a goatee, glasses and ear-length straight black hair that looked like a "bowl cut." He was wearing jean shorts.
